Becoming Catholic is one of life’s most profound and joyous experiences. Some are blessed enough to receive this great gift while they are infants, and, over time, they recognize the enormous grace that has been bestowed on them. Others enter the Catholic fold when they are older children or adults.

Through Baptism, a Catholic begins their faith journey with the belief that death is not the end nor does it break the bonds forged in life. Since the Mass is the central source and summit of our faith, Catholic funerals generally include Mass.

We love all of our families here at Immaculate Heart of Mary, young or old. But we know that some of our younger families who might be new to the area aren’t sure how they can be a part of our parish family. So here are a few ways to get your kids involved at the parish, and some options for you as parents as well..

MARRIAGE
Are you looking to get married? Contact our Family Life Coordinator in order to learn more about preparing for marriage at Immaculate Heart of Mary.

BAPTISM
Do you want to get your baby or child baptized? Reach out to our Family Life Coordinator Susan to learn more about how to get the process started.

CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION
Do you have kids that are Pre-K through 5th Grade? We would love to welcome them to be a part of our Children’s Faith Formation Program that takes place on Wednesday Nights. Learn more about the program or contact Kit our Children’s Faith Formation Director. In this program children start preparation for receiving Sacraments (Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion).

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
Do you have a middle or high schooler? They can participate in our youth groups that place on Wednesday nights. Or if you have teens that need to receive any sacraments they can participate in our teen Spirit Series. Learn more about our Youth Groups or contact Katelyn our Youth Minister with any questions.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
We offer some Parent Encounters that take place during our Children’s Faith Formation and Youth Programs. If you are interested in learn what is being offered for you as a parent please reach out to Tyler our Director of Evangelization
