As the disciples gathered in the upper room on that first Pentecost, “suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as a fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” (Acts 2: 2-4)
Wind and fire were signs of the Holy Spirit’s dynamism back then; but what are signs of the Holy Spirit’s dynamism today, in the midst of our parish family? There are many signs that the Holy Spirit is dynamically active among us, as highlighted in our bulletin every week. I encourage you to participate in any or all of them; that is, if you dare to “catch the wind and fire!”
